The Lancia Fulvia sports coupé enjoyed great success in the second half of the 1960s. Its attractive design, remarkable performance, and good value for money were the main factors behind this success. The road-going version gave rise to the legendary Lancia Fulvia HF, equipped with a longitudinal front-mounted 1.600cm V4 engine, which became a true rally icon. The most famous version, a perfect synthesis of elegance and sportiness, was the 1.6 HF “Fanalone,” recognizable by its oversized headlights. The Fulvia HF won important rallies around the world, culminating in the Manufacturers’ title in 1972. The Lancia Fulvia HF is still considered a great classic of Italian automotive production of the period.
