This locomotive was built by the Robert Stephenson & Co. company of Newcastle. It was transported from that English city to the port of Rotterdam, and then on to Cologne on the Rhine. Its overland transport to Nuremberg was very difficult. Upon arrival, it was assembled in the workshops of Johann Wilhelm Spaeth. These machines were built of wood by local workshops.
This locomotive made its inaugural journey on December 7, 1835 between Furth and Nuremberg on a line 6.04 km long.
You will see that you will gradually be able to reproduce a model faithful to the original with all the railway details of the machines.
