Step by step, ride this wonderful model in kit Of London tram. It will allow you to spend long and enjoyable moments of creative leisure by building a faithful replica of the Tram original with all rail details.
This Tram was built in April 1903 by the Electric Railway and Tramway Carriage Works and was one of 100 Class "B" vehicles commissioned by the London County Council.
It was used as a passenger vehicle under the number 106 until 1925, when it was turned into a snowplow under the number 022. The 106 was taken in 1983 to the National Tramway Museum in Crich, Derbyshire, where he is still, having travelled more than 10,000 miles in the service of passenger transport.
It originally had two Dick Kerr engines, of the 25 hp DK25A type, which were replaced in 1927 by Westinghouse engines, type 220 of 42 hp. The vehicle is equipped with hand brakes on the wheels and a dynamic brake acting on the engines. Magnetic brakes were installed there in 1980.
Passionate and let yourself be drawn to the days when these wonderful Trams circulated in the streets.
