PD 250/E - Precision lathe - 250mm between centers Proxxon

Proxxon PD 250/E precision lathe, reference 24002.

For flat turning, longitudinal and conical turning, and threading. For machining steel, brass, aluminum, and plastic. Mounting flange for the PF 230 drilling and milling attachment.

TREE : Made of die-cast aluminum. Precision guided main spindle (concentricity without chuck 1/100 mm) with a 10.5 mm bore. 70 mm hollow chuck side, drilled to 14 mm. With MT 2 adjustment. Switchable for automatic feed selector: 0.05 or 0.1 mm/rev.

Doll : Made of die-cast aluminum. Pinole Ø 18 mm, extendable up to 30 mm. With millimeter scale, CM 1 adjustment and rotating tip.

Support: Die-cast zinc bed. Cross slide and small steel slide (60 or 45 mm stroke). Rotating tool holder for 8 x 8 mm turning steel.

Training : Special quiet DC motor with a 3-speed belt drive for 300, 900, and 3,000 rpm. Features additional speed control (full-wave electronic), with continuously adjustable speeds of 100, 300, or 1,000 rpm depending on the belt drive. Rotates clockwise and counterclockwise. Includes a relay switch with emergency stop and restart protection.

Mandrin: 3 high-quality jaws according to DIN 8386 class 1 (concentricity tolerance 0.04 mm). Clamping range with reversible jaws: 2–75 mm. With chuck guard and safety stop.

Cranks: Made of aluminium, with adjustable scale ring (1 bar = 0.05 mm, 1 turn = 1 mm).

Threading equipment: With changing crank for left and right thread with main graduations (pitch of 0.5 - 0.625 - 0.7 - 0.75 - 0.8 - 1 - 1.25 - 1.5).

The chuck mounting is identical to that of the PD 250/E lathe spindle. Therefore, it is possible to use the 3-jaw chuck (available separately under No. 24 034, see below) and the 4-jaw chuck (No. 24 036, see page 57). Horizontal mounting (e.g., on the PD 250/E carriage) or vertical mounting (e.g., on the machine bed).
