This model is ready to run with a painted and decorated polycarbonate body. The Pirate Stinger II is a robust and high-performance buggy. Its powerful 550-type motor and fully ball-bearing 4x4 transmission with two differentials allow it to reach speeds of up to 45 km/h. Power is managed by an electronic speed controller (Forward/Reverse/Brake) that can be powered by a 2S LiPo or 5- to 9-cell NiMH battery pack. The front and rear driveshafts are made of treated steel. The four-wheel independent suspension with four hydraulic shock absorbers and Hi-Grip Mini-Blocks all-terrain tires allow it to travel at high speeds on rough terrain. To adapt the Pirate Stinger II to any situation, the wheelbase (335 or 338 mm), shock absorber position, and spring preload can be adjusted using a preload adjuster. A matching adjustable nylon spoiler is also included.
