The Traxxas Slash 2WD XL-5 HD Kit is a 1/10 scale Short Course Truck kit , designed for self-assembly before enjoying a high-performance and robust 2WD radio-controlled model. Reference 58214-4 .
This kit includes the main electronics with a Titan 12T 550 brushed motor , a waterproof XL-5 speed controller with low-voltage LiPo detection , and a 2.4 GHz 2-channel TQ radio system . It also comes equipped with a waterproof Traxxas 2075 digital servo .
The chassis is based on a Magnum 272 transmission with metal gears, a steel-gear planetary differential, and 2WD transmission. The model also receives installed Extreme Heavy Duty components , including HD suspension arms, reinforced driveshafts, and heavy-duty steering and suspension components.
The clip-free Short Course clear body comes with window masking and a sticker sheet. The Slash uses fully adjustable Ultra Shocks oil-filled dampers , adjustable steel tie rods, sealed rubber ball bearings, and BFGoodrich Mud Terrain T/A tires pre-glued to SCT rims.
