As a 1:1 vehicle, the Audi Quattro was the first rally car to make effective use of all-wheel drive and would go on to become a benchmark for future cars with such a transmission. At Carisma, we have decided to make the driving experience as close as possible to the original Group B specification.
New Big Can 550 brushless motor, offering both RPM and torque.
To power this, we've updated the ESC to our newly developed ARC-3 to allow for the use of 2 or 3S LiPo as standard, and when combined with the 2.4GHz FHSS radio equipment and 3 Diff 4WD all-metal transmission, delivers a robust and true rally driving experience like no other.
The car is an ARR, so just add your own choice of 7.2V NiMh, 2S 7.4V Li-Po or 3S 11.1V battery.
The bodywork has been faithfully reproduced using the original design data, and we have ensured that it is as accurate as possible, including the entire downforce-generating aerodynamic package, its SWB dimensions, a different screen angle than the LWB Quattro and its full replica livery to complement the precise and truly photorealistic appearance.
The end result is truly stunning and is a perfect 1/8 RC car to collect and yet functional.
Use a 7.4V 2S Li-Po battery first to get a feel for the car's handling, and then, when the time is right, switch to the 3S for more speed, acceleration, and torque.
M48S features:
