Peugeot 306 Maxi BT-01 Tamiya 58746 Build Kit.
This version of the popular Peugeot 306 Maxi front-wheel drive was developed for rallying. Its 2.0-liter naturally aspirated engine installed at the front developed 280hp and its lightweight body had widened fenders and was extended by a roof spoiler. In addition to the victories in 1996 and 1997 in France, this car won the 1996 Monte Carlo Rally in its class and took third place in the fifth and sixth rounds of the 1997 World Rally Circuit.
This RC kit combines the BT-01 two-wheel drive chassis, this time with standard wheelbase, front engine/front-wheel drive (FF) with the bodywork faithfully reproducing the Peugeot 306 Maxi.
Characteristics:
• 1/10 scale RC kit to be assembled.
• BT-01 2WD chassis offering choice of FF/MR/FR transmission system – here with standard wheelbase, front engine/front-wheel drive (FF).
• Polycarbonate bodywork, a faithful replica of that of the Peugeot 306 Maxi.
• Moulded die-cast side mirrors and roof spoiler inserts.
• Six-spoke wheels and Racing radial tires.
• Markings designed by Tamiya.
• Type 540 motor and variator included.
Features of the new BT01 chassis:
• Length: 397mm, Width: 185mm, Wheelbase: 257mm/251mm.
• Convertible chassis with a choice of two wheelbases and front- or rear-wheel drive (front-wheel drive or rear-wheel drive).
• Without changing the position of the RC equipment and the battery pack in the central part, you can switch between:
-Traction (FF)
-Propulsion with engine in forward (FR) or central (MR) position requiring the engine to be moved.
-In total, six possible configurations (three configurations for each of the two wheelbases)
To do this, all you have to do is change the installation direction of the final drive and the steering system!
