Tamiya RC 47524 – Porsche 934 Vaillant 50th Anniversary 1/10 on dedicated chassis. Limited and numbered series.

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of our first Porsche 934 model, we are proud to announce the release of the Porsche 934 with a custom chassis. The engine is longitudinally mounted at the rear center, driving the rear wheels, just like the real car. Collectors will be delighted to know that magnetic body mounts (requiring no drilling) are included for those who simply wish to display the model! A unique numbered plaque is also included, adding special value to this kit.

Features :

• R/C kit to assemble - 1/10 scale.
• This R/C model assembly kit reproduces the Porsche 934 driven by Kremer Racing, which had its moment of glory during the 1976 DRM (German Motor Racing Championship) season.
• Independent 4-wheel suspension uses a double wishbone configuration at the front and a swing arm configuration at the rear, with TRF shock absorbers and stabilizer bars.
• Polycarbonate body used for the Porsche 934 30th Anniversary model. Paint the body with PS-54 Cobalt Green.
• Separate plastic parts replicate the rear wing, side mirrors and headlight housings.
• LEDs sold separately can be attached.
• Paint the rear wing and side mirrors with the color TS-102 Cobalt Green.
• Gearbox and adjustment links made of anodized aluminum in dark titanium color.
• Updated stickers are included.
• Two-piece honeycomb rims with plated metal hubcaps combined with narrow medium racing tires (reference 51023) which offer excellent
performance. Use wheel spacers (ref. 53646) when switching to narrow front and wide rear wheels.
• High-end TRF shock absorbers.
• Universal universal joints ensuring efficient transmission.
• A numbered plaque is also included to add special value to this kit.
• Comes with the 1/10 scale touring car cockpit kit (left-hand drive) part number 54298 with updated stickers.

Engine position:

• The motor is positioned centrally and lengthwise so that the chassis layout is similar to that of the real car. Power is transmitted as follows: Pinion A → Right-hand pinion → Driveshaft → Pinion B → Right-hand pinion → Gear differential. (The 66-tooth differential ring gears and all other pinions are module 04. The gear differential is the one used on the TB-05 chassis.)
• Change gears A and B to adjust the transmission ratio.
• The parts around the gearbox are made of aluminum.

Rear swing arms:

• Just like on the real car, the rear suspension uses trailing arms. The trailing arms are molded from carbon fiber reinforced plastic for superior rigidity.
• Lower chassis made of fiberglass-reinforced plastic
• The integrated main and rear lower chassis are molded from fiberglass-reinforced plastic.
• The standard wheelbase of the kit is 230 mm (swingarm rear suspension). The rear lower axle configuration can be modified to change the wheelbase to 251 mm (double wishbone rear suspension). A body kit, sold separately, is required for a 251 mm wheelbase.

Design features inspired by the real car:

• Engine guard shape similar to that of an exhaust pipe
• Patterns under the frame
• Mounting bracket design similar to that of the cooling radiator (Intercooler).
• The separately sold cooling fan is located above the engine, just like the cooling system in the real car. Body attachments: Choose to attach the body using holes (rolling model) or magnets and metal parts (display model).
