The Tamiya 58751 BMW M4 GT3 EVO TT-02 is a 1/10 scale electric radio-controlled car kit. This track model reproduces the BMW M4 GT3 EVO, a racing car derived from the BMW M4 coupe and entered in competition from the 2025 season. The polycarbonate body captures the GT3's muscular proportions, its widened fenders, its air vents at the wheel arches, and its characteristic front end with BMW grille.

This RC model is based on the Tamiya TT-02 chassis, a four-wheel drive platform with a driveshaft, designed for touring and on-road cars. Its balanced design positions the battery longitudinally on the left side and the motor on the right. The TT-02 thus provides a suitable base for building a 1/10 scale RC touring car, ideal for running on smooth, prepared surfaces.

The real-life BMW M4 GT3 EVO is the evolution of the BMW M4 GT3. Competing from 2025 onwards, it notably won the Dubai 24 Hours in its debut race that year. Tamiya reproduces its racing silhouette with a body featuring pronounced aerodynamic lines, complemented by a sticker sheet allowing for its checkered livery.

A detailed GT3 body

The Tamiya BMW M4 GT3 EVO's body is molded from polycarbonate. The front canards are part of the body, while the headlights, fog lights, and taillights have separate housing elements. The aerodynamic mirrors are also separate parts, with mirror surfaces reproduced using stickers.

The rear wing and its flanges are made of polycarbonate. Wing flaps are included to complete the race car look. The black, cross-spoke wheels are inspired by the design of the real BMW's wheels and are fitted with semi-pneumatic slick tires. The hubs resemble brake discs, a visual detail that reinforces the model's racing presentation.

Tamiya TT-02 chassis with 4WD transmission

The TT-02 chassis uses permanent four-wheel drive via a central shaft. It features four-gear plastic differentials front and rear, a three-piece tie rod steering system with resin ball joints, and independent double wishbone suspension on all four wheels. Front and rear friction dampers contribute to the suspension system's operation.

Its bathtub-style frame, suspension arms, and symmetrical left- and right-side steering knuckles simplify assembly. The transmission housings are designed for easy access during maintenance. The chassis also offers multiple configuration options: two wheelbases, two ground clearance settings, and two track layouts. The transmission has a standard 8.27:1 ratio; nine other ratios are available with separately sold gears.

The kit includes a type 540 motor and its Hobbywing speed controller.
To complete the model, you will need a 2-channel radio system, transmitter batteries , a compatible propulsion battery and its charger , as well as polycarbonate body paint .
