The REDOUTABLE (S 611), the first French nuclear submarine, launched in March 1967, commissioned in 1971, decommissioned in 1991, is today the largest museum submarine on display in the world. The hull is made of highly elastic steel, which allows diving depths of more than 200 m. The boat is propelled by a KK reactor with enriched uranium and natural water under pressure. The armament includes 16 missiles, comparable to the US Polaris, and 4 torpedoes.

Plastic model to build and paint.

Glue brushes and paint not included.
