Immerse yourself in the world of naval modelling and relive the days of these wonderful boats thanks to our kit models.
Built in 1783 as a cargo ship, the Bounty joined the Royal Navy in 1787 with the aim of transporting breadfruit between Tahiti and the Caribbean. The breadfruit was to feed, cheaply, the slaves who worked in the sugar cane plantations.
The ship departed England on 23 December 1787 under the command of Commander William Bligh. He arrived in Tahiti later than expected, after ten months of travel. This delay forced him to wait 5 months before leaving for the Caribbean, his final destination. A mutiny led by Fletcher Christian set off on board during the voyage.
The mutineers forced Captain Bligh and 18 sailors loyal to board a canoe. Bligh achieved the feat of reaching the island of Timor after a 41-day voyage.
You will see that you will gradually be able to reproduce a Comp true to the original frigate Bounty and with all the naval details of the boat. We invite you to let yourself be captivated and create creative leisure spaces in which this wonderful model of the Bounty will give you a lot of fun.
