The Austrian Otto Lilienthal, like Leonardo da Vinci, meticulously studied the flight of birds and published in 1889 The Flight of Birds, which is considered the basis of the art of flight and in which he described his future gliders that he would later build.
He then designed a glider made of wood and canvas (as Leonardo da Vinci had imagined) on which he was suspended by his armpits, his legs dangling in the air; and he launched himself from the top of a hill: he traveled several meters by rocking his body back and forth to steer his machine before landing. During the flights he made, he learned to steer his glider using thermals, and even managed to make turns!
All parts and fittings are included in the box. Glue not included.
