- Micromot steel clamps are quenched, which gives them a high and constant elasticity. They retain the necessary precision even after long use (incomparable to unspended clamps with 4 slots or those made of brass or aluminum).
- The triple slot which is much more difficult to achieve than a quadruple slot, allows to obtain a better seat.
- This is especially important for the centering of small diameter stems.
Drilling chuck or clamping pliers?
Our drilling chuck (Ref 28941) provides more comfort by allowing a quick change of tool when working with different axes (e.g. HSS drill according to DIN 338). Due to its technical structure, however, it has disadvantages compared to clamping pliers: lower clamping force and higher rotin tolerance. If high accuracy is required, it is imperative to work with MICROMOT clamps.
