The evolution of the Outback Trail chassis reaches new heights with the new Hi-Rock edition of FTX. While trail and crawler fans continue to look for both performance and scale appearance, we've sought to address both with Hi-Rock.

With a new split transmission, the engine is now mounted directly above the front axle, next to the steering servo, providing extra weight at the front for better traction during climbs. The turning angle has been increased to an angle of 45 degrees for even more maneuverability on the trails. An adjustable transmission skate can be adjusted to protect transmission and transmission shafts in the event of a blockage, while the metal gears of the internal axle and gearbox provide long-term durability.

The divided transmission layout provides a much lower central section. The moulded side frame plates have aluminum plates on the outside, while the inner plates provide protection from the elements as well as the Hobbywing receiver and controller. The molded receiver case includes additional connection ports for LED lights and spare winches.

The body inspired by the classic pickup comes with molded accessories such as front grille and LED lighting buckets, snorkel, mirrors, windshield wipers, safety cage and projectors (optional LEDs). The front and rear bumpers are equipped with LED lights and tow hooks to complete this scale look.
