Porsche 911 Carrera RSR 2.8 BT-01 Tamiya 47507 Build Kit.

The Porsche Carrera RS 2.7 is a legend of the 911 series of the famous German manufacturer. Developed to compete in European GT racing in 1973, it was equipped with a 2,687cc flat-6 engine developing 210hp, a lightweight body with improved aerodynamics and wide rear tyres.
The Carrera RSR 2.8 competition version has seen its displacement increased to 2,808 cm3 and its power to more than 300 hp. In 1973, it was European GT champion and won many victories all over the world. Here is the RC 1/10 replica based on the new BT-01 convertible chassis.

Characteristics:

• 1/10 scale radio-controlled model in kit.
• BT-01 chassis (see below) in short wheelbase configuration, engine in mid-rear position and rear-wheel drive (MR).
• Shapes of the Porsche 911 Carrera RSR 2.8 perfectly reproduced by the polycarbonate bodywork.
• Narrow rims at the front and wide at the rear, in two parts (separate red spokes) and tyres
Racing Slicks (50454 front, 50547 rear). Foam inserts not included.
• Type 540 motor and variator included.

New BT01 convertible chassis:

• Convertible chassis with a choice of two wheelbases and front- or rear-wheel drive (front-wheel drive or rear-wheel drive).
• Without changing the position of the RC equipment and the battery pack in the central part, you can switch between:
-Traction (FF)
-Propulsion with engine in forward (FR) or central (MR) position requiring the engine to be moved.
-In total, six possible configurations (three configurations for each of the two wheelbases)

To do this, all you have to do is change the installation direction of the final drive and the steering system!
